An evolution of our popular wetsuit, this sleek women’s Powerskin Storm swimming wetsuit is the result of 50 years of research in hydrodynamics and was designed by athletes for athletes, to deliver perfect buoyancy without compromising on comfort, flexibility or thermal insulation.

Our Storm wetsuit is made from 100% Yamamoto SCS limestone neoprene, a neoprene that isn’t derived from petroleum and has a lower environmental impact. The different neoprene thicknesses ensure maximum freedom of movement as you swim and optimal buoyancy. The Airlock technology built into the wetsuit helps you hold an ideal body position in the water, while the new collar is designed for maximum comfort and zero chafing. The special double-layer construction on the forearms gives you a better catch during the stroke and a better feel for the water. Thanks to the thinner, highly elastic neoprene at the wrists and ankles, you can get the wetsuit on and off quickly.

This women’s swimming wetsuit is approved for the FINA, ITU, Ironman and USAT circuits.

OPTIMAL BUOYANCY AND BODY POSITION

The 4 mm thick laminated material of the POWERSKIN STORM is built from 3 layers of Yamamoto neoprene. The middle layer uses Airlock technology, whose perforated fabric traps air during the lamination process. This construction delivers 30% more buoyancy than standard 4 mm neoprene and lets the athlete feel noticeably higher in the water while swimming. The Airlock neoprene is strategically placed over the centre of the torso and the upper thighs, ensuring an optimal body position in the water, smooth rotation and maximum flexibility.

MAXIMUM FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT

The STORM wetsuit uses only ultra-elastic Yamamoto neoprene: a blend of #39 and #40. This neoprene is made from limestone, which makes the wetsuit extremely flexible, giving athletes unrestricted freedom of movement and a completely natural, comfortable feel through the stroke. This stretch neoprene varies in thickness depending on where it sits on the wetsuit, ensuring complete freedom of movement, optimal buoyancy and an easy-to-hold hydrodynamic position in the water.

HARD-WEARING, PERFECTLY SEALED CONSTRUCTION

All the bonded seams on the STORM wetsuit are made with 100% watertight glue, giving you maximum wear resistance and a long life. They are also reinforced with invisible double stitching that goes only halfway through the fabric, leaving the surface of the wetsuit completely smooth and free of visible stitching. The result is a perfectly sealed seam.

LIMESTONE NEOPRENE

Yamamoto neoprene is made from limestone. This sedimentary rock is mainly composed of minerals, calcite and aragonite, so no petroleum at all is used in processing this material.

ZERO CHAFING AT THE COLLAR

The STORM wetsuit has a smooth collar with flat edges and a soft inner lining, designed to reduce chafing against the skin.

QUICK ON AND OFF

At the wrists and ankles the wetsuit features thin Yamamoto neoprene, designed for maximum stretch, making the wetsuit easy to put on and take off during fast transitions in races or training.

BETTER GLIDE IN THE WATER

The Yamamoto neoprene is coated with Nano SCS (Super Composite Skin) to ensure zero water absorption. The coating’s micro-cell structure is perfectly water-repellent, allowing athletes to swim with less drag and glide perfectly through the water.

EXCEPTIONAL FEEL THROUGH THE STROKE

The STORM wetsuit features an ultra-thin, double-lined neoprene panel along the inner forearm, giving you exceptional feel and great sensations in the water, especially during the catch and pull phases of the stroke.
